Important note: Booking for the exam usually begins about two weeks before its scheduled date, so it is preferable to book on the first day of opening the reservation, and it is best to book it when the reservation door opens. To book an exam, once you receive approval for the Initial Assessment, you can open an account on the Australian Pharmacy Council website, and when the exam booking window opens, go to the “Register and complete KAPS exam” section and press the dedicated button to book the exam.

You will be asked to upload a personal photo with a white background during the booking process, and then choose the place and time that suits you to take the exam from the available options.

When you go to take the exam, you must make sure that you carry your ID card or passport as your personal ID, in addition to another ID card containing your photo, such as a national ID card.

After booking your exam, you will receive an email confirming your exam booking and stating the location and date of the exam, as well as all necessary instructions for preparation and implementation.

The content of the exam consists of two papers, each paper containing 100 optional questions that must be solved in two hours, with a total of 200 questions in 4 hours, and there is a half-hour rest between each paper.

You must achieve a pass rate of 50% on each paper, and the material you must study to pass the exam includes specific chapters from Comprehensive Pharmacy Review (CPR) and Lippincott Pharmacology, as well as other materials such as Appleton and Lange Review of Pharmacy.
